20 Oct Our Amazing Planet

I’ve been blessed to see so many amazing parts of our planet. This is from our last trip home to Canada with a couple stops on the way there and the way back. You can find out more about how I made this trip lighter on the planet by offsetting our flights and some key eco-travel tips (to be posted soon).

I travel to see nature and admire our planet. Below are some of the majestic parts of the world that we got to explore… and some of my favorite travel quotes.

These beautiful places fuel my mission to live lighter. I want my great -great- grandchildren to have the same amazing planet to get to explore.

“All travel has its advantages. If the passenger visits better countries, he may learn to improve his own. And if fortune carries him to worse, he may learn to enjoy it.” – Samuel Johnson

Canada in Summer

“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” – Cesare Pavese

There are so many beautiful places on this planet, and so much for us to learn from exploring it.

All of these photos are either taken by me or my fiance – Sebastian Jones.

We had a spectacular trip, so lucky to see so much natural beauty from around the world. As soon as we got back though, I realised (again) that we live in such a beautiful place here in Western Australia too!
